The highlight of my week vacation at the North Shore was seeing turtles basking on the sand for the first time in my life! I would see Honu (or Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles) swimming in the sea before, but never have I seen something amazing like this. Before, I never knew about Laniakea …

On Saturday I took mom on our last big trip. We ventured up to the wonderful North Shore. We visited the North Shore Marketplace and ate at a great little Mexican restaurant-Cholos. We then spent the rest of the day lounging on the beach at Haleiwa. I love the North Shore because it is not crowded …

We went up to the North Shore along Kamehameha Highway HWY-83, just norteast of Haleiwa Town, to check out the 25-foot waves and the sunset. We were amazed at the crazy people actually surfing those huge waves! The sunset along the Waiʻanae Range (or Waianae Mountains) was amazing.&nbs…

As our body clock was still on LA time, everyone was wide awake by 7am. After finishing up our spam and eggs in our room, and checking our emails, we went straight to the Pali lookout. By that time, the weather was cloudy rainy. Pali was okay, not really a “MUST SEE” for me. The scene…

On July 5, 2008 some friends (including fellow TravBuddy- Doccollier)and I dove the North Shore of Oahu. What a great place to go when the waves are not enormous. It is amazing what is below the surface when the emphasis is not on the great surfing.

North Shore was great as always.. and we were able to see the beautiful sunset again. =) The sun was gone so we called the other car to meet us back in Waikiki for our last dinner, (well, non-wedding dinner) in Hawaii together, more local food. By the time we made it back home we …

This isn't a travel blog. This is more of an introduction of where I was born and raised and spent majority of my life. On the small island of Oahu. One of 8 of the Hawaiian islands. I can't get enough of the beaches, the mountains, blue skies, and rainbows. I hope you enjoy my photos. If anyone of you visit the islands, be sure to leave me a message. I would LOVE to take you hiking!

Today has a been a bit frustrating but still very enjoyable. Personally I don't think "The country's best mass transit sytem" is very user-friendly, but it gets you around. I was going to take the bus around the island today and stop in Kailua, Kane'ohe and the north shore. Only m…
