Gora park Dec 28, 2008
Gora park is a park located near the Gora Station. It is well known for its beautiful water fountain in the center of the park as well as its French rock garden.

When in season the garden also features a large rose garden unfortunately in Winter, most of the roses were wilted. The garden also has a large hot house.

There is also an art and craft centre in the park where you can try your hand at glass blowing, pottery and other craft activities. The park is open from 9am to 9pm from 21st July to 21 August, the other times of the year it closes at 5pm.

The garden is free if you have the Hakone free pass or 500 yen if you don't have it. Its a nice leisurely place to take a stroll for around 20 -30 minutes.
