Near most of the action Sep 17, 2009
I have been to Fukuoka and stayed at the Green Hotel many times. It is located very close to the Hakata staion and is within walking distance for most of the action offered in Tenjin. Definatly one of the cheapest you'll find with a great location.

Nice hotel in a good location Jul 27, 2000
My last hotel of my 2000 trip in Japan was a good one. No minshuku in some old building, but a good hotel in what turned out to be a good location.

Just a short walk away from the Hakata Train Station and nearby shops. The hotel itself looked nice and clean. The room was with twin beds, but my feet stuck a bit out from the bed during the nights.

The bathroom was good, clean and the height wasn't an issue. The room itself was decent, with a tv and enough room for me and my roommate to put our luggage away without having to move it or tripping over it.

Hotel staff was nice and spoke pretty good english. As for the prices, I don't know how much I paid for it. It was a tour package and I'm sure the travel agency got a discount on the rooms.

(My apologies for the photos from the leaflet, but I wanted to give you an impression of how the hotel & room were back then)
