Hacienda Carabali

If you want to explore an hacienda, but didn't like the idea of do it by walking, I'll suggest you to ride a horse.

Francisco suggested us to take the horse tour and it was a great idea. It's located in Luquillo not 1 hour from San Juan. The hacienda offers different kind of tours, including ATV, Mountain bikes and of course the Horse Riding.

You don't need a reservation for the Horse Riding, just show up and wait until your horses are ready. The horses know the road, but a guide will always join you. You can ask for an English or Spanish tour.

There are 2 kinds of tour: 1 hour or the 2 hour long one. We took the 1st and 1 hour was enough.

During the ride you will enjoy not only the Caribbean sunshine, but also a peaceful and green scenery. If you haven't ridden a horse before, don't be worried. These horses are well trained and the guide is always aware of all the members of the group.

They have also a restaurant that serves snacks, but after the hacienda we visited El Yunque which is very close and awesome and didn't want to waste any minute, hehe.
