Haad Yao See Through Resort

Haad Yao See Through Resort is located in the centre of the beach at Haad Yao on the western sunset coast of Koh Phangan in Thailand. We had previously stayed at Haad Son Resort - the next bay along from Haad Yao and the owners of that particular resort built a new hotel which we tried out this time around.

See Through Resort is a very nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and enthusiatic about everything which is always good to see. The beach front restaurant and bar is a plus so we didn't have to go very far at night - just let the water lap around our feet!

Even though the pound was in free fall against the Thai Baht (how does that happen when Thailand is in political chaos?) the place is still very cheap - the most expensive room was just 2,750 baht - thats the room not the per person price (about £50 a night or in US Dollars about ten cents if the pound falls any lower!)

The beach is huge and there are lots of water sports going on. At night all the locals come out and put up various nets across the beach and play volleyball or mark out football pitches. There is a great atmosphere.
