Ha Huong

Once again we were disappointed with the Lonely Planet recommendation. The “pretty orchids in the courtyard with Koi carp pond” made it sound so delightful, when in fact it was a concrete drive with a tiny pond in the corner. The room also was less than “pretty”. It was nothing more than basic, no frills, ugly in fact. Crudely painted with tubular steel beds and paisley blankets, an ancient wardrobe and out-dated wet-room style bathroom that soaked absolutely everything. It was also a little way from everything, which is no problem since we don’t like staying in backpacker land anyway, but it was definitely tucked away. For $4 it was passable, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
