Convenience in the heart of Victoria... Aug 31, 2008
Stayed here for a night as we hopped around British Columbia and the great North West. Its location in the heart of downtown Victoria makes this hostel a great place for homebase to all the major atractions in the area. Theres even a sign at the front deask that says, "No locals!" Hahahaha! Too bad for the Victorians.
The front door is always open, but you have to get "buzzed in" through the hostel door so security isnt a problem. The dorms are gigantic rooms, big enough for 20+ people easily. I would opt for a 4-man room or such if you need more privacy or if you cannot sleep through other people snoring hahahaha! Amenities include a spacious kitchen and dining room. A quiant and cozy lounge complete with lazy chairs and an internet corner (provide your own laptop of course). Internet via a desktop is available at the bottom of the stairs for a fee. We rolled in on a Saturday, so parked on the street and left the car there all day Sunday for no fee. Woot! Part of the Vancouver, Canada 2008 travel blog
