H.I. San Francisco-City Center Reviews
One of the nice hostels Apr 05, 2009
A great hostel in downtown San Francisco. It has been a hotel before.Very clean, nice staff, free wireless internet and lots of space to sit and chat with people or just relax with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Free breakfast, which is bagels or toasts with jelly, orange juice and coffee. Fruits and pastry offered at additional payment.Rooms are with private bathrooms and doors open with magnetic cards. There are personal lockers in each room, you have to bring your personal padlock though.Staff is very helpful, they offer tours to interesting places in the area. I reccommend Dylan's tours of the city and Muir Woods.Surrounding area is not very nice, because there are a lot of beggars, but San Francisco is famous for that, especially in the downtown area. All downtown attractions are in walking distance, metro stop is 10-15 min away walk.I would stay there again!
