Bridge Street Inn (HI-Cambria) Sep 27, 2009
The Bridge Street Inn (HI-Cambria) is located about 1 mile from Moonstone beach. This is a family run hostel and they are very friendly and helpful. The whole hostel is spotless and feels very homey. They also provide a free, but simple breakfast.
The internet is a little unreliable as the router is positioned on the spire of the church next door, so the signal is not great. On the beach you can see elephant seals or go for a tour of the famous Hearst Castle. The staff at the hostel can advise you on what there is to do. Cambria is probably not somewhere where you would want to stay for more than a day or two but is an ideal half way point between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
