Guyana is located on the northeastern coast of South America surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, Venezuela to the west, Suriname to the east and Brazil to the south. The only english speaking country in South America.

Mi viaje a Guyana fue una experiencia inolvidable! Conoci muchos sitios interesantes, paisajes hermosos otras culturas,los indigenas de las tribus Wapishana y Arawak, quienes fueron esenciales para pasar la mejor estadia en ese pais. (Yo diria que mejor que un hotel de 5 estrellas) Tuve la oportunidad de convivir con los amerindios pasando noches durmiendo en hamacas, otras en cabanitas o ranchos, comiendo lo que cazabamos ese dia,y concinando en fogones hechos por ellos mismos. Aventura total!

To get to Guyana from Manaus you have to take a 12 hour bus to Boa Vista and then another bus to Bonfim, the Brazilian town on the border. The bus drops you off at the Policia Federal where you can get an exit stamp. Brazil paid for the construction of a new bridge that spans the river separating Guyana and Brazil.
