The "Plan": like the rest of my Iceland trip, everything was planned on the spot. The only thing I had "planned" was the lodging. So after 2 nights in Reykjavik, I had to go to Husavik because I had paid for a night at the Fosshotel. Gullfoss is a beautiful waterfall. When I went to Iceland I didn't realise a) how many waterfalls they had, and b) how large a part they would play in our trip. Gullfoss remained one of my favorites because of its beauty, and the fact we were so lucky with the weather. Gullfoss:   We all thought: “wow! It looks so cold outside!!” and so it was! It was freezing!!! We walked over to Gullfoss and took many photos. It was very beautiful and big (and cold!). On the photos you can see ice on the grass. It was a windy day, so the water flew on us! Then we got colder! We tried to hurry a bit, but it was too beautiful to leave that soon.
