“Historic” Gulf Beach Resort of Lido Beach Mar 31, 2009
You get to the “Historic” Gulf Beach Resort of Lido Beach by going around the The Old School Italian Statuary of St Armand’s Key turn left past the location of Sunset from the Lido Beach Holiday Inn Steps wave to Chris behind the bar. The HGBR is on you right the first thing you notice is the 1950’s sign out front. I know I have been here before I just can't remember when & with who, the mind is a terrible thing to waste. Walked into the office where I am greeted by the nice beach lady who says “Hello what can I do for you this wonderful day?”
Room for 1 night, please. This is what she said: We have eighteen 18 small studios with fully equipped kitchens. Most have a small-screened porch or a private walled patio. Sleep 2 to 3 persons depending on the unit & how friendly your group is. 2 bedroom apartment which is a motel room that connects to a small studio. Each unit has own entrance, bathroom, and TV. 14 large studios all have a fully equipped kitchen. Large studios sleep 2 to 4 people. 7-one bedroom apartments each have a fully equipped kitchen sleeps 2 to 6 persons. 2-direct gulf front units offer unobstructed beach & gulf views. Our one bedroom apartment is located on the 2nd floor and sleeps 2 to 7 perso...
