Week 5 – 2008 T.I.A. outreach team After packing our bags and cleaning our rooms, we sat down to share a meal together. Soon we would be parting ways if only for a short time. Bamako, Mali -› Dakar, Senegal -› ...
Guinea-Bissau has some of the most incredible, empty beaches I have ever seen. I biked down one of the palm-fringed beaches for two hours and never saw another person. I didn't have much time so I was only able to take the ferry to a couple of the islands in the Arquipelago dos Bijagos, but with more time you could reach some very remote islands.

Week 6 & 7 – 2008 T.I.A. outreach team Saturday, February 8th representatives from the Guinea-Bissau customs office arrived just before noon. Roy broke the seal on the lock and we began unloading the truck. Several people who live and work on the YWAM base volunteered to help. Roy brought medical supplies, hospital beds, dental equipment, tools and building materials to convert Mercy Trucks into mobile medical units.
