Guesthouse Rosandic

We arrived in Vinkovci, wanting to discover Slavonia. Everything is from there very central: Vukovar, Zagreb, Slavonski Brod, Belgrade. The guesthouse Rosandic is a big villa, with garden, and rooms with balconies, and an owner who gives you her time and her charm. We recommend it, also because the price is so good!

Vukovar is a very interesting place for people liking nature(you can swim in the Danube or in the Sava, nearby). I didn't find any place for small budget in that town, so I drived about 15 km further and arrived in Vinkovci, at the Guesthouse Rosandic, Vojarska cesta 2b. Vinkovci is a marvellous town, too, and interesting not only for holidays (Ilog, Osijek, Zagreb, even Novi Sad and Belgrade are quite near), but also to look at towns which completely changed their look after the war, like Vukovar, Slav./Bos.Brod, Brcko... The guesthouse is splendid, the rooms have mostly a balcony and when you sit in the garden, you think you are in the country, although you are just 200 meters far away from the center of Vinkovci which has so many lively cafes crowded from people. The price is very low - and Rozalija is a marvellous personality.
