DAY 5 Had a lie in and after a leisurely stroll around St Peter Port, set sail for Sark. Dropped anchor in Saignie Bay about 3pm.

July 23 and we awoke to a misty rain.  We walked down … or was it up and then down … to the new St. Anne’s Church.  It is quite a picturesque little church, set in a cemetery with headstones dating from the late 1800s.    Then we went by the Town Hall to enquire about BBQ on the beach permits.  If one wants to have a BBQ on the beach after 8 p.m., one needs a permit.  A refundable deposit of £75 (the equivalent of $150) is required.  And one needs ...

A trip to the channel Isles

March 31Early early wake up to catch our ferries by 7am we left with the Condor ferries for a 2h sail to St-Peter-Port in Guernsey in a quite grey weather.Once arrived we saw a strange city built on a hill in the cloud mist. It was also pretty windy and we were too early for the touristy season.Basically we encountered a real sea-side temperature.We walked around, visiting this city and so but also managed to cross the island to go to the other side have a different look. Floh wasn't so happy...
