Gudvangen Fjordtell & Apartments

A UNESCO World Heritage Site in the magnificent fjords of Norway offering a picturesque and breathtaking residence nestled in the beautiful Gudvangen valley. 1000 years ago this was a Viking centre rich in folklore, now an innovative building complex brings together 11th century Viking traditions, and the most modern Norwegian design concepts. The architecture combines old Norwegian building tradition with modern comfort and all of the furniture is handmade inspired by the Viking era and completely designed and constructed by local artists; from the bedroom furniture to the free-standing fireplace and dramatic wrought-iron stairway in the lodge.
