Guava Lounge Nakuru Reviews
fantastic music and clubbing experience May 24, 2011
I was in Nakuru a couple of weeks back for a 3 day rugby tournament and on the first night we ended up at this place.apparently its the IT CLUBBING spot in Nakuru and i was on a mission to find out why.The reason as to why i love going out is to listen to some great music and dance my heart out all night long and some of the lounges i have been to in nairobi have been prettyy disappointing.
The club is located in an alley street and can be abit hard to find for a first timer in the town.before the club was opened up the place used to be a car garage so its pretty plain no fancy walls or grand entrance actually the entrance would make you not want to go in but the huge crowd of tourists and locals outside waiting to get in or smoking a cigarette convinces you to give it a try.the inside is not very big and finding a place to seat past 10pm can be quite a challenge. There lots of couches and a few bar stools by the bar and zero dance floor and a huge screen by one of the walls for the live dj mixes where you can watch videos of music he is playing. The whole joint has a rustic feel to it which makes it pretty cool.
I was abit bored for like half an hour until the dj picked up the tempo at around 10pm,i have to admit in all my clubbing years i have never danced non stop till 4am in the morning.
so if your ever in nakuru and your in the mood to socialise, meet some awesome people and listen to fantastic music.the guava lounge is the place to be.
