One of the nicest and Biggest Processions of Guatemala City, is from "El Calvario" church, this processions relatively new, and in the past years have been growing in a good way, People from all over the country, specially Guatemala city and Antigua, come the 3rd Sunday of lent to admire one of the perfect and most beautiful image of Jesus Christ carying his cross. So Anders, Ariel and I went through downtown Guatemala while we were waiting for the bus to Rio Dulce. We came across the market in the centre of this metropolitan city and there was this guy who had just milked a goat and had given the glass of foamy warm goat milk to a woman in nice clothes on the street who I suppose was thirsty. She gave him some money and wiped her goat milk mustache off her face, transaction complete.

So again I'll mention how Guatemala has started to feel like a second home. Upon arrival by about 12pm I knew the streets. I knew exactly what I was doing and where I was going. Did my research before hand and realized I needed to book my bus for tomorrow to COPAN HONDURAS. Did that, and in the process met 2 really great people from Salt Lake City. A father and daughter duo. Alejandro was to pick us up at 2PM and again he was exactly on schedule. This time he brought with him his other daughter, Anastasia. However, before they arrived, Mel and I went for a swim in the hotel’s pool and then walked around the grounds taking last minute departing pictures.
