Like Staying at Grandma's May 15, 2016
I walked around town for a while since I arrived without any reservations on a rather impromptu visit. Since I was traveling during the off-season, many places were closed as their owners were on vacation.

Thankfully Guasu's door was open. The lady of the house was very kind. I was not that desperate, but she took kindness on me and dropped her standard price since she knew I was looking for a hostal, but there were no vacancies.

The rooms were very comfortable, and the common living space was just as you'd expect from a pousada - that of a large communal living room.

'Grandma' was very friendly. She pointed me around town, she engaged in conversation, she even made me popcorn as we sat to watch the newest Game of Thrones.

Breakfast is included as it should be in any pousada stay. They also have WiFi, and a communal living room with large TV, a selection of movies and a large library.
