Gruner Apartment Hotel Oslo

Only 3 stops on the bus from Oslo Central Station, the Gruner Apartment Hotel is ideal as a base for a short break. We had a 2-bedroomed apartment which was spacious and clean, with a balcony so we didn't have to go downstairs and outside for a cigarette! Self catering was probably the best option as food is so expensive. As you went out of the apartments there were 2 small supermarkets, a corner shop, bar and 2 takeaways.

In addition, within a 100 yards there are tram stops and bus stops. Transport to the apartments is extemely good, and you never have to wait more than 10 minutes for connections into town.

Roger, the owner, was extremely welcoming and helpful, and showed us around the apartment before leaving us to get on with our break.

The Gruner Apartment Hotel is in an excellent position for short breaks to the capital.
