Leaved S.A. and coming back to Dallas, we stopped in two locations: Natural Bridge Cave and Gruene.Natural Bridge Cave. While in Hill Country, I was advised to check out the town of Gruene.  It is a quaint historical town which has quite a bit of character and has resisted conforming to the big cities that border it.  My understanding is it was developed by German farmers who settled there in the mid 1800's.  The local saloon and dance hall from this area still stands, known as Gruene Hall.  The old cotton mill is now the site of the Gristmill River Restaurant and Bar which is a great place...
