The Grovetown Country Hotel is a great place to vsiit for true country hospitality a good variety of ales and wines plus as a bonus the very best hottest open fire I have ever stood in front of. The Grovetown is our local, not that we visit often but we always enjoy our time there when we do. The crowd is very freindly and happy.
There is a lovely beer garden thats cool and shady in the summer and pleasantly warm on winters days, a barbecue is there at the ready for your use, or you can order food from the bistro. Every month there is a 'drag' night when queens from the big city come to entertain the patrons, these shows are very popular and surprisingly everyone seems to have a great time. This type of entertainment is new to Blenheim and is finding a real niche market. Twice we have hired this pub for private functions and each time they were well run and very satisfactory. |
