My favourite park in Berlin Oct 02, 2004
Görlitzer Park is my favourite park in Berlin. It's not the largest nor the prettiest, but it's the perfect place for relaxing and people watching.

There used to be a train station here, called Görlitzer Bahnhof. It was bombed to rubble during the second world war. The central part of the park today is a huge bomb crater. There are some ruined walls you can sit on there, a very inspiring place to watch people and do creative things like writing or drawing.

This is a good place to come with children too. There are several playgrounds, for different age groups.
