Good seafood and a great happy hour Oct 09, 2009
If you can find a place to park, Grillfish is a wonderful seafood restaurant! There is a $5 parking lot around the corner or you can take the metro to Dupont Circle and then walk down NH ave. They have a wonderful menu and the best prepared spinach. If you sit (or stand) at the bar, they have a WONDERFUL happy hour M-F from 4pm-7pm; they serve a long list of half price appetizers (not just 3 or 4 items).
I don't go as often as I'd like to because the parking just isn't great, but the food there is FANTASTIC, as are the drinks (great coconut kamikazees), as are the staff (William is the BEST waiter ever!)...sometimes though, they have private parties and when you get to the front door, it's locked, so you might want to call before you go. For happy hour or dinner, GrillFish is a must for the seafood lover, the happy hour specialist, or the a upscale bar hopper. |
