Grøften Tivoli

Grøften Tivoli Copenhagen Reviews
Typical local food in Tivoli Aug 16, 2011
Christian recommended us this restaurant and he joined us for dinner! http://www.travbuddy.com/Chokk
Groften in Danish means "the Ditch" as it was actually placed on a ditch in Tivoli Garden. It is very popular among Danish people and has become an institution in Tivoli's restaurant life. They opened in 1874 just the same year the Pantomime Theater was built. We had some smoked salmon, small peeled prawns and also a typical dish I don´t recall. :) We had a couple of beers, an orange fanta and coffees. Everything came up to be 125€. Christian told us how many dishes serve fish, meat or whatever but always with some bread underneath :) They even have fish, prawns on bread with mayonaisse! heheh The service was just unbeatable! could not get any better! If you are looking to taste some Danish food in Tivoli, this is the place to go! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
