My goodness, where shall i start!! On finding the entrance the this 'hotel' (i use the term very loosely!) i was greeted by a huge staircase and the type of smell usually associated with secondhand furniture shops. After finally reaching the reception (with no help offered with my case) i was surprised to see that this looked more like a minicab office than a hotel reception. I then found out that the room i had booked was not onsuit so change my double to a twin at the cost of £47. Then i was shocked to find that payment was in advance (normally ive always paid on departure! now i know why they are keen to get your money before you have seen your room!!) Parkning was an additional £6!!

The room was (when we found it!) was vile, beds broken and unmade. one teabag, one coffee 2 cups and one saucer!! The kettle looked as though it had come out of the ark and the tv reception was so poor i gave up!

On entering the onsuit shower room which i had paid extra for a smell of raw sewage appeared when the taps were ran! The shower was either scalding hot of freezing cold and there was a sign above the toilet asking not to throw used needles into it!! (says a lot for the usual clientele haha!!)

As we had a twin room we did what most couples do and pushed the 2 single beds together only to be greeted with a perfect rectangle of dust, muck, crumbs and filth! I then risked the electric socket and The dust that came off the lightshade with my hairdrier was unreal!! Also the room was freezing (approx half 2pm) i went to see how to turn the heating on only to be told it only gets turned on from 5pm to 10.30pm!! Its november for crying out loud and incase you haven't worked it out, this place does not have double glazing!! My husband had to get in one of the beds fully clothes to keep warm while i was getting changed!!

At this point i was actually in stitches but my husband was not impressed!!

Next morning after a night out in nottingham we thought we'd risk the full english breakfast! MISTAKE!! The sausage and bacon were still oinking and grunting to each other, hash browns we still frozen in the centre and the only reason the beans and tomatoes were warm is because the eggs and been slung straight on top of them!

All in all this hotel is just a dive and half way house and should be avoided by tourists although in hindsight it was soooooooo funny at times because it was so poor! Maybe as an additional laugh for a stag do in nottingham but NOT FOR ROMANCE, FAMILIES, AND ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY!!

I WILL NOT BE VISITING AGAIN!!
my poor hubby trying to keep war

oh god, self explanatory!!
