Bike & Build provides young adults with the opportunity to participate in a cross-country bike trip across the US to raise awareness for affordable housing. My route cycled from Virginia Beach, VA to Cannon Beach, OR (5/15/08-7/25/08). Once a week, we traded our bikes in for hammers and helped with Habitat for Humanity or another affordable housing organization. It was, by far, the greatest travel experience I have ever had.

With all this time on my hands, I've decided to venture back to my roots for a month, visit as many family and friends as I can and voyage to the remaining corners of the Sunflower State I haven't yet seen.
