Good place to sllep off the jet lag... Jan 06, 2010
Overall a nice place to stay, the garden is tranquil and bar is open 24/7. However location isnt great. Handy for the airport but no close to anything else really. Also some of the "extra" charges were a little much...

Staff were great though and security isnt an issue as the gate is locked.

I would recommend Green Mango if you just arrived and needed a day ot 2 to relax, or need somewhere close to the airport before you leave. but not so good for a "destination" base.

nice place but could be very better... Sep 21, 2010
The hotel is not so clean, big insects, noisy because walls are very thin so u hear everything about ur neighboor (tv or conversation for exemple), far from Manila's interests places. And some of the staff not honest and incompetent, they would better do another job... But some others are friendly, depends... Hotel only good for cheaps rates.

Tropical garden-style guesthouse - Green Mango Inn, Manila Jan 08, 2009
Its close to the airport terminal and can be reached conveniently within 30 min. It is in an upper middle-class neighborhood, very secure area.

It has a nice charming garden in front and its old-world architecture is that of the colonial-era . It has a bar which is open 24hrs.

Their room rates are cheaper than those in Makati or Malate.

The staff are very helpful and the hotel has decent clean rooms, hot showers and clean sheets.

Ideal place for backpackers and those who like quite place away from the city hustle. Transportation to and from the hostel is not that easily available and convenient, but can manage. From airport to this hotel, a taxi should cost around 100 pesos.

We had a very noisy room because of the aircon and next to the bar. The room was definitely to small for two people with backpacks. I was not sure about the sheets being clean...
The nice neighbourhood and the friendly staff could not make that up.
