 Fun and Place to Cool off from the Heat! Aug 15, 2006
Well, one place to sit to get away from the heat is Green Beans Coffee shop. Many selections to choose from. My favorite is the Chai. It may not be as good as what the local Iraqis get here at Camp Bucca, but it is quite good and will get you going for your next shift of work or enjoy it when you are not working!

Even the Subway, Pizza Hut and Green Beans Coffee shop and the Exchange had bare shelves. No mail delivery for us either. During that time the morale of the Camp was pretty 'shitty' But the Detainees got great food all the time, The locals provided for them… My thoughts and experiences from the beginning to the end. |
