The Greek Theatre is a wonderful open-air theatre in the hills of Los Angeles. Despite the prevalence of bugs, it is such a nice retreat and the perfect venue for live music. It is somewhat like the Hollywood Bowl, but smaller, more intimate, and in the middle of a canyon where sound echoes off the hillsides. It's fantastic, especially for jazz and folk music because that earthy feel all around. They even serve margaritas here!

Tickets here are a bit more reasonable than say.. Staples Center or Universal City. Front Row seats generally cost just over $100.

We were in the 2nd or 3rd row from the stage =) Terrace seats are going to be quite far, although the audio will be fantastic due to the sound system/shape of theatre. If you're planning on being able to see the performers faces from the Terrace, you may have some trouble. I suggest bringing binoculars!

Hey, I was wondering where those pictures from the Il Divo concert were. I bought two tickets to see the arcade fire, but I got terrace seats (south terrace, Row S). I was just curious about the view from there...Thanks!
