Greek Theatre
Greek Theatre Reviews
Feb 21, 2007
The Greek Theatre is a wonderful open-air theatre in the hills of Los Angeles. Despite the prevalence of bugs, it is such a nice retreat and the perfect venue for live music. It is somewhat like the Hollywood Bowl, but smaller, more intimate, and in the middle of a canyon where sound echoes off the hillsides. It's fantastic, especially for jazz and folk music because that earthy feel all around. They even serve margaritas here!
Tickets here are a bit more reasonable than say.. Staples Center or Universal City. Front Row seats generally cost just over $100. |
