Great Plains Dinosaur Museum Malta Reviews
Old Bones Jun 19, 2010
The very small town of Malta, Montana with a population of only about two thousand is home to this small fairly new museum. Run by a non-profit group that was put together back in 2003 to care for the unique dinosaur discoveries of Phillips County, it began in an old tire shop. After five years they have moved to another building and have created several exhibits. The day we were there the young lady was adamant about no photos but after getting home and checking their website for more information about the museum they supposed do allow photographs. The few exhibits they had were not as good as I had expected, certainly nothing special. Entry is $5 for ages 12 and up, $3 children 5 to 12, and under 5 free.
