Great American Fish Company Morro Bay Reviews
Great seafood Sep 26, 2010
After checking out the myriad of places to eat in Morro Bay we had chosen this restaurant because we were looking for a particular meal. Broiled Calamari. They are one of the oldest and most trusted along the entire waterfront area. So when we went in and were asked to wait a couple of minutes for a table be weren’t put off at all, even though we could see several empty tables that were cleaned and ready. Granted, they weren’t window seats, but we hadn’t asked for anything special. The young hostess returned in only a minute or so and escorted us to the first empty table just inside. She handed us the menus and said our waitress would be with us shortly. The hostess came back in about five minutes and took our drink order and delivered them. Finally, our waitress came to our table and got our order. We waited about twenty minutes for the order to come. Now the great part. The meal was delicious. Our food was cooked to perfection and was more than we expected. Part of the dinner was a small red cabbage salad that neither my wife or I found to be very good, but the rest of the meal was wonderful. I am hoping that the service was less than usual that evening and will try it again.
