Grazalema is a beautifull village which is situated Southwestern corner of Andalucia Spain.
Grazalema natural park famous for its amazing grey limestone cliff formation,gullies,caverns and gorges.
Among these gorges Garganta Verde is the most spectacular gorge with steep rocky walls that can rise upto 400m which gives most breath taking views.
You can visit Andalucian largest cave system Hundidero-Gata cave.
This natural park provides shelter to about 300 pairs of Griffon Vultures,Black Vultures, Spanish Ibex ect.. and mammals like western polecat.
You can choose different way to explore this unusual beauty of Grazalema Natural Park by car or on foot.The main roads crossing the sierra de Grazalema are the A372 Ronda to El Bosque and A374 Grazalema to Ubrique road.
For more information best way is first visit El Bosque main park office.You can find maps,walking routes and also issue permits for some walks inside the park.
As your accomodation you can find hotels,rural houses,campsites around Grazalema Natural Park .
Remember some campsites are closing for some periods for the summer.So inquire before you go specially if you are visiting Grazalema in summer months.We have been told,owners of these campsites go on their holidays when the temperature is too high to do anything in this area.
