Gray Line Scotland Reviews
Coach tours around the Scottish Highlands Oct 15, 2011
At first we considered to hire a car, but chose the bus, so that we all would be able to looking at the landscapes.
The bus tour was a good way to get an overview of Scotland, especially if you are a little tired of walking. There was free pick-up from outside the hotel, just like free drop-off when we came back to Edinburgh.
The driver, who also was our guide, was enthusiastic, nice and friendly and he was a real expert in his field. During the bus tour we got an intensive lecture in Scotland's interesting history.
I would have appreciated some more stops, but then again, there wouldn't have been time enough to do such a long trip. There was no toilet on the bus.
We tried the Loch Ness & The Highlands of Scotland tour, and in my opinion the price was quite moderate, a 12-hour trip for 39£ /Adult. If you want to make the Loch Ness cruising, that costs extra.
Gray Line is operating around the year.
