Grasshopper Aviation Wasilla Reviews

The brochure of Grasshopper Aviation says it all: 'Our flights start where the real Alaska begins.' Dave Glenn is the owner and sole pilot of Grasshopper Aviation, a general aviation charter service and he flies year round on wheels, skis, and floats.
Operating out of a small log-cabin office on the ramp at the Wasilla Municipal Airport, Dave flies a blue and white Maule to transport hunters, fishermen, kayakers, and hikers into the remote bush as well as for other versatile charter work such as hauling supplies or cargo. His small and powerful Maule is ideal for the short-field take-offs and landings at remote sites, not always on an airstrip.
Dave also offers scenic flights to Mount McKinley and the Alaska Range on clear days. For those, and longer flights of passengers or cargo, he flies his Piper Cherokee which provides speed and comfort. I had the opportunity of a six hour flight in this plane and it was like riding in a Cadillac. (A video of our landing is in my blog 'Back to the Arctic'.)'
Want to experience a bird's-eye view of the spectacular Alaska wilderness or be dropped off in the middle of it and picked up days or weeks later, maybe at a different location? Grasshopper Aviation can make it happen.
