The electric line gives direct access to London within an hour and teh A1 road gives great access to the North and South. The town has close proximity to Peterborough, Licoln, and Nottingham, making this a largely commuter town.

So, that night (Wednesday I think it was) we went out for some spirits at a pub in Cornwall. And well...here is what I learned....alcohol here is A LOT stronger than alcohol at home.
