Not much is going on in this sleepy village but the green hills from the east and the deep blue ocean and the few houses piled in a jumbled heap is all you need in order to feel that you are just in the right place, if what you are looking for is peaceful and a great place to just relax, open a book, listen to some music and walk along the coast.

When I arrived to Arthur's Pass I found out that: A: it's rain, B: The DOC took out the bridge in the next track I planned to do. There for I went to the west coast and up north to a small village named Granity. Sure, I visit some places on the way, but I was just looking for a nice place where I can rest, eat and get ready to go back to the great outdoors.
