Grande Galerie de L'Evolution Paris Reviews
Why only male animals? Mar 14, 2007
Have you ever been to a museum in which a protest was being held... I was! So my first picture of this museum is one with a banner on it. Several farmers where protesting against genetically modified food, like corn and peas. One of my teachers told us this is quite normal for the French to do.
But this review is about the museum and its collection. The museum is in a building build in the 1970's or so. The museum is located at the corner of two roads, but more easily it is located in the Jardin de Plantes.
This museum is more modern, but still old fashioned, most of the animals on show are male... so allmost no females to be seen, even though most of these male animals would never take care of their young they are shown taking care of them.
Many stuffed animals to be seen... nicely done, most in natural settings... except for one tiger attacking a soldier elaphant.
