Grand Millennium Hotel Kuala Lumpur Reviews
Awsome hotel. Do you want to foot out the bill? Nov 23, 2009
Ok, this hotel is in an awesome location. I'm just a little angry that I'm back to the same grudge I have at every five star hotel. Nickel and dime you to death. They want over $25 (US) for internet access (per day) that I'm getting for free by connecting to the hotel next door. $2 for water at the mini-bar. I'm just tired of paying hundreds a night at a five star hotel (and this is five star) just to be charged every time I touch something. Ok, enough complaining. The rooms are nice, the hotel is amazing, they have pool, night club (doesn't seem as cool as it was a year ago), several places to eat, and is in the heart of the area. As in all my posts, I will always complain about not having a microwave. It's a cheap add on that they don't give you so they can assume you will just have to order room service again rather than save your left overs. I hate that. I'm spoiled and would probably stay here again, but over that past month of traveling with my hippie girlfriend I'm starting to warm up to the guest house at $10 a night at an Irish bar. Money not an issue, I just appreciate not being ripped off at every corner. Hippies have knowledge too.
