Grand Luis Lodge

We stayed in Grand Luis Lodge last October 30 to November 1. Even if the place is fully booked, it is quiet and and very peaceful. You can feel the serenity and quietness of the environment that makes you decide to stay longer and plan to visit again. Grand Luis Lodge B+B and SPA is located at Baliw Hill, Mariveles, Dauis, Panglao island that travel from Tagbilaran airport approximately 20 minutes. They have mountain view and bay view rooms for just 1,500. All rooms have a balcony, free peanut kisses (2pcs), free coffee and tea, wifi access, TV and DVD player. These are inclusive of breakfast and free transport to and from the airport and Alona Beach. We will never forget the warm welcome and the hospitality of the staffs (special mention to Rose and Romy). They make us feel at home. The rooms are cleaned everyday, giving us clean towels everyday. I truly recommend this place and will still come back :)

Coming from 3D & 2N of swimming & snorkeling at Balicasag, Grand Luis was a pleasant surprise. Since it cost only PhP 1500/N, I was expecting a crappy small room. But to our shock, the interior was exquisite, bed was crispy clean w/ free coffee & tea, a first class restroom, and the breathtaking view of the mountain from your bed... Oh, btw, the room has a cable TV, wifi at the pool area (free), jacuzzi at the pool, and they are very generous in serving meals w/c are oh so inexpensive :) For that 1500, you get a free breakfast and land transfer to & from the airport...
