Nice Hotel in the business district Apr 04, 2008

I kinda liked the hotel, the staff was absolutely nice ( but they seem to be nice everywhere in Thailand lol). Our bags were taken over as soon as we arrived. So all we had to do was to check in and get the key cards. We had a special offer thats why we happen to afford this hotel.

We stayed in a basic non smoking double room on the 11th floor. It was very bright because of the wide windows. Unfortunately we didn't have had a balcony. The bed was very big and comfortable. Details such as... slippers, bathrobes, wireless, adjustable aircon, safe, alarm clock etc included. We enjoyed room service food of a restaurant belonging to the hotel on our first night cause we were too tired to eat out. It was delicious and I luved the trolley that they brought us. It was foldable into a table. Everything was very nice setted. There was a small fridge and a mini bar with several drinks, beers and snacks.
We also had TV with channels in a lot of languages (I concentrated on english cartoon and german sports and news :D).

The cleaning staff was also very good. I never met them but my room was always clean and they changed stuff every day like soaps, towels n so on. Plus two bottles of water. These were in the bathroom, whyever.
The bathroom itself was very beautiful. With shower, bathtube, warm water and a lot of mirrors. There was a little box with useful stuff such as nail file, sewing kit, shower cap and so on. I stole it all. lol

I managed to eat once at the morning buffet. I'm happy I just did it once... because it was just too good. I had 5 plates at a time because I am a crazy food maniac lol. They make real good omelettes with everything u want. They have western breakfast, chinese dim sum and local stuff.

There was a pool, some fitness stuff and a spa at the 5th floor (I suppose).
I kinda liked the pool. It was very clean and again the staff was very friendly. It's awesome to use the bathroom there by the way.

They have a bar on the lower level, a few restaurants, a tea-, coffee-, chocolate- and cake shop (I'd recommend the mango tea). Also u can enter the Erawan mall from there. If u go upstairs you'll get out on the skyway lanes. The Chitlom stop is right there. Other big malls such as Siam and Paragorn are quite near and u can walk there.

The hotel and the Erawan Shrine.
