Budget hotel with bed bug???? Mar 27, 2016
We booked this hotel the night before we come through the internet, as it is location right at the city center and supposedly we can park the car right outside the hotel front door, and this is the cheapest hotel in the city centre when we search on the net.

There were mix review about this hotel, some bad and some good. We take it as a grain of salt and we will find out our selves

The hotel building was big but look aging, and it was easy to find from the main street since the hotel has a big sign in the front.

The reception was friendly enough and give information about the city centre. There is plenty of magazines, newspaper, or information about the city at the reception area. She gives us a city map to explore the center.

We asked about the carpark, and she said we can leave the car right outside the hotel main street without putting any money in the machine, since it was a holiday in France. So we do that while we stay there. Otherwise we have to pay extra €10 if park at the hotel.

The big square and the main sights located one block from the hotel with easy walk, and plenty of bars, restaurants, bakery shops, etc, etc, nearby.

It cost €65 per night for two people without breakfast. Guest can purchase breakfast at the hotel, since the breakfast room is locate near the reception area. In the morning, we decided to buy breakfast such as croissant and other cakes, from the nearby bakery, which taste very yummy and quite cheap. We even take it for our day trip.

Our room located at the fourth floor and it was quite big and quit, despite what other guest reviews said about the noise.

The room was really basic and minimal… it seems very budget style. There is one double bed in the room with one small table and chair. A wardrobe to put stuff inside, a flat screen television which work well, clean and functional private bathroom with hot and warm water.

The bed was comfortable enough and the room was bright with a big French window facing the street.

Since there was a bit cold in the room, I put the extra blanket on top of the duvet to keep warm at night time.

Unfortunately when we woke up in the morning, my best buddy body got beaten by the bed bug (we think), since he said it was very itchy and he has many red mark on his back.

But I have no problem luckily and no mark on my body.

Unfortunately 2 days later, my right hand was very itchy and has horizontal 4 red marks. We thought this hotel might have a bed bug but we were not sure, since I was okay when we stayed there, but my best friend was not.

It might be from the last hotel we stayed??? But my buddy was okay when we stayed in the other hotel. So… we were really not sure if there is a bed bug or not. Stay there on your own risk.

yes, we thought so. we washed everything in the hot water when we come back home 3-4 days later, but not sure if we get it from here or from the last hotel in Paris.

It is not impossible that there are bedbugs, if you had those itchy bites...
