Perfect hotel for our stay in Utrecht! Mar 29, 2009
We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel Karel! Not only was our room fabulous, we stayed in an Empire Suite in the Napoleonic Wing... complete with charm and perfection...the staff was impeccable and went above and beyond. Delivering breakfast to our room after typical breakfast hours and sending someone up to prepare an ice-pack for my horrible headache when we simply asked for a bucket of ice... we won't stay anywhere else when we come back to Utrecht. The location can't be beat. Grand Hotel Karen V has made a place in my top hotel experiences! Sadly, we didn't enjoy the on site dining, but the menu looked outstanding and when we find ourselves back at Grand Hotel Karel, we'll definitely enjoy a meal there!
