So close you could almost touch the tower Aug 16, 2009 Value: Location: Cleanliness: Amenities: Bed: Bathroom & Shower: Service: This hotel is nohwere near 4*. It's closer to 2* and that's generous. The hotel is stuck in a time warp and that is not a positive comment. I think the furniture is original to the late 60's/ early 70's romodel. The rooms are a bit larger than expected for Italy. The room condition was as expected, given the lobby. Everthing is cheap and very outdated. The positive was air conditioning that worked and a great location. It's just down the street from the tower. In fact from the roof deck, you have a fantastic view of the tower and on to the mountains. The bath is large but, again, looks tired, worn, and in need of a good cleaning. Pisa is small, another option could be had easily. For the time spent in the hotel, which was very little, it was fine but, I wouldn't choose it again.
