Grand Canyon of Yellowstone Reviews

Aug 03, 2007
Tourists to the Grand Canyon in Arizona are very often awed first by its sheer size and then its beauty. The Grand Canyon in Yellowstone amazes visitors with its magnificent natural beauty, more easily viewable because of its smaller scale. The rock walls reveal a range of earth tones that are still being shaped not just by wind and river but also thermal features. Hiking trails alongside and partway down into the canyon provide new perspectives on the region. The focal point is the powerful Lower Falls. Hikers can actually stand at the precipice of the falls. The Upper Falls are also beautiful.

The Upper & Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone are especially beautiful this year. We have had alot of snow which contrasts against the colored canyon walls. It has also been cold enough to start to build up the ice flows on the sides and in front of the waterfalls.
