Grand Canyon Tour by Papillon

Papillon Tours has an easy to use online booking site located at www.papillon.com. Prices include hotel pick-up and drop-off, helicopter ride and a champagne picnic in the canyon beside the Colorado River.

Along the way the pilot gives a brief narration as you fly over other landmarks. Flying quite low in some areas, you can get a great look at the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, parts of the Colorado River and of course the Grand Canyon.

This was my first time to the Grand Canyon, and my first time in a helicopter. The pilot was professional and put everyone at ease with his skill set when flying the EC130 Helicopter. It has 7 seats plus the pilot, but is still spacious. The big windows on all sides give ample opportunity to take a few good pictures along the way.

If you can pay an extra few dollars, request to sit in the front row of the chopper when you check in.
