Grand Californian Hotel and Spa Reviews

If you are visiting this is probably the best place to stay. It is right next to the park and right in the middle of Downtown Disney. The people who work there are very friendly (who isn't at Disneyland?) and helpful. The rooms are a nice size and vary depending how big of a room you request (there are 745 rooms). The lobby of the Grand is made to look like an old log cabin with timber everywhere and a huge fireplace. It has two main restaurants, the Storytellers Cafe and Napa Rose. Storytellers Cafe is great for American food plus the excitement of seeing Disney characters walking throughout. Storytellers offers the Chip N Dale Breakfast, which is a buffet with everything. Very filling. Napa Rose is an upscale restaurant offering some really good food. It has a pool, although I have never been inside or used it, but its big and a good place to relax. Another plus about the Grand Californian is that you have an entrance to Disney California Adventure exclusive to residents of the Grand. Easy access in and out. If you are visiting Disneyland this is place to stay, although it can more expensive then the surrounding places but the location cannot be beat.
