Grand Balisani Suites Bali Travel Reviews

Aug 11, 2007

Grand Balisani Suites is an excellent place to stay – far from the busy Kuta area, but still close to the water. Very natural and clean and overall nice place to stay. There’s a van to pick you up from and take you to the airport. The hotel can also arrange for daytrips or car+driver for you. The food is great and the hotel itself is just like an adventurous place with its nooks and crannies. There’s a huge chess place, with the whole floor designed as the board and you must physically carry the pins to play. There are numerous fish ponds and fan banana trees. There are also a swimming pool if you prefer not to swim on the beach, and private soak tubs.

My room was amazing. It's big and had its own porch overlooking the beach. The teak bed was huge and they put rose petals on the bottom of the bed. I also notice a lot of plumerias floating on bowls around the hotel, Bali-style. The bathroom was also huge. The tub was enormous -- I know it's a standard tub, but I bet two people fit in there fine. The breakfast place was located in the restaurant side of the hotel. It was on the second floor overlooking the pool and the beach. I recommend ordering fresh fried rice and eggs for breakfast and delicious tropical fruit juices. Take your delicious morning tea with you back to the room.

I would definitely go back and stay there the next time I visit Bali. I had such a great experience with the hotel. The staff was really professional yet friendly. I loved everything.

TYoungTX says: The Alam Kulkul at Kuta Beach in Bali is a great boutique hotel that I would highly recommend. The hotel has amazing security, no doubt due to the Bali issues of a few years ago. I never felt in any danger whatsoever, in fact, I felt very comfortable walking around on my own while there. The ...

TYoungTX says: The Alila Ubud Resort is simply amazing. It is in a lush jungle on the outskirts of Ubud along a gorgeous river. The views here are stunning. Conde Nast has recognized the swimming pool here as one of the top ten pools in the world, and it is breath-taking. It is a long rectangular shaped pool...
