This spring I went to madrid, toledo, granada, seville, and accidentally barcelona in spain. I have to say toledo and granada were okay, but madrid was my favorite. It reminded me of new york city. We arrived the day of the big european cup game between spain and denmark. Let me tell you, I have not seen so many drunk Danish men in my life. It was the best time though. Everyone was crammed into the Plaza de Mayor kicking soccer balls and drinking. Best part of the trip by far.

Spain is an exotic land with a lot to offer... but not in the way of beaches! We toured the east coast from Benidorm, Malaga, Granada, Valencia and up to Barcelona, San Sebastion and Bilbao. Had a heap of fun, great food, but dont recall meeting a single local person....
