Of the 3 Southern cities I visited, Granada is definitely my favorite. I love the spirit there, it´s relatively easy to navigate, and the Sierra Nevadas provide an awesome backdrop to the city (though I didn´t take the hour trip out to see them). Also, they really do give you free tapas…

We saw the Alhambra. Very pretty. At this point in our trip, however, we were almost too worn out to really enjoy it.

In the fall of 2004 I needed a change - there was only one answer: a roadtrip alone. I always wanted to see Alhambra and I just had to go for it. I ended up with 8600 km in just 2 weeks - and it was great.

Of all the places I've visited in Spain, my favorite is definitly the Alhambra palace.  I've always been an admirer of great architecture.

Most of the people goes to Granada to see La Alhambra. And I think it is very difficult to be disappointed. But also there are a lot of things to see in Granada, as the Albaicin, the cathedral, the carthusian and a lot of interesting churches and old hospitals dating from the Renaissance. Be aware of that if you visit Granada

I went to Spain by myself to practice my Spanish and do some exploring. Granada most of the time, but also Barcelona and Menorca, Sevilla, and Almunecar.

I lived and studied in Granada, Spain. I spent time traveling around and soaking in the language. We tried to get out every weekend in the surrounding hills, mountains, beaches since bus fare was cheap and locals were friendly and wouldn't speak English:)

July 12 to Aug 3, I will see 12 cities Starting in Lisbon heading East to Munich and then looping back to Paris.

Summer 2007 travelling around Andalusia and visiting my brother who lives in Spain. Meeting lot's of warm, loving people and having a great time. A cultural experience with a sparkle of vino.
